Grade Overview:
Grade 4 at SNS Academy sees students developing greater academic maturity and independence. The curriculum deepens in complexity while maintaining strong connections to real-world applications. Design Thinking becomes a natural part of how students approach challenges across all subjects.
What Students Will Learn
English Language: Reading and analyzing texts critically, grammar (conjunctions, interjections), formal and informal letter writing, creative story writing.
Mathematical Thinking: Large numbers up to lakhs, factors and multiples, fractions and decimals, perimeter and area, data handling and representation.
Science: Adaptation in plants and animals, food and digestion, materials and their properties, force, work, and energy.
Social Science: Reading maps and globes, natural and human resources, agriculture and industries, medieval Indian history.
Art and Creativity: Perspective drawing, shading techniques, pottery, and understanding art from different cultures.

Design Thinking Mastery: Students apply the Design Thinking process independently to increasingly complex challenges.
Research Skills: Students learn to gather information from multiple sources, evaluate credibility, and synthesize findings.
Presentation Skills: Regular opportunities to present learning to peers, teachers, and parents, building confidence and communication.

Design Thinking Projects: Projects address real community needs, such as water conservation solutions for the school.

SPINE Center Integration: Advanced swimming techniques, specialized sports coaching, and performing arts opportunities.
3P Culture Leadership: Students begin to mentor younger students in understanding purpose, process, and people in learning.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Children must be 9 years old by the 31st of March in the academic year for which admission is sought.
