Grade Overview:
Grade 5 is the culmination of the primary years at SNS Academy. Students consolidate their foundational knowledge while preparing for the transition to middle school. The Design Thinking mindset is now deeply embedded, and students tackle projects with real-world impact.
What Students Will Learn
English Language: In-depth literature study, grammar (active/passive voice), report writing, and advanced creative writing.
Mathematical Thinking: Operations with large numbers, LCM and HCF, advanced fractions and decimals, percentage, volume, and introduction to algebra.
Science: Reproduction in plants, skeletal and nervous systems, rocks and minerals, simple machines, and natural disasters.
Social Science: Major landforms of the world, climate and vegetation, democratic government, and ancient Indian heritage.
Art and Creativity: Portrait drawing, watercolor techniques, clay sculpture, and art appreciation.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Children must be 10 years old by the 31st of March in the academic year for which admission is sought.

Because of the interesting teaching method, difficult ideas were made simple.
