Grade Overview:
Grade 8 is the culmination of middle school at SNS Academy. Students consolidate their middle school learning while preparing for the increased demands of high school. Design Thinking projects at this level have significant real-world impact, and students begin making preliminary choices about future streams.
What Students Will Learn
English Language: Advanced grammar (sentences), comprehension of complex texts, formal letter writing, essay writing, and critical literary analysis.
Mathematical Thinking: Rational numbers, squares and cubes, algebraic identities, mensuration, and data handling.
Science: Crop production and management, microorganisms, synthetic fibers, metals and non-metals, light and sound.
Social Science: Resources and development, Indian constitution, colonialism and tribal societies, and industries.
Computer Science: Python basics, database concepts, and cyber safety.
Subjects Offered

Critical Analysis: Students learn to critically analyze texts, data, and arguments across all subjects.
Future Orientation: Discussions and activities connect current learning to future academic and career pathways.

SPINE Center Excellence: Advanced sports specialization, performing arts productions, and leadership in wellness programs.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Children must be 13 years old by the 31st of March in the academic year for which admission is sought.
